About Our Team philosophy: Kids (and adults too) learn best by doing it, rather watching. Our concept of project-based learning is to nurture a sense of accomplishment by building something of practical use. Our projects don’t try to re-invent the wheel by recreating what is already available to use. Instead, we focus on combining blocks of separate ideas into something kids can use. Some projects that our kids created include:
– A Wishlist website that the kids can update with the links to their favorite products.
– Book report in the form of a chatbot.
– A scheduler + newsletter to update key community events.
– Create a book about Hurricane safety for kids.
Our core team consists of technologists and kids education experts that have designed our standardized cirriculum in such a way that challenges the students and still provides them the required guidance to make progress in their choosen courses.
As you can see, possibly the above projects will be useful to only family and friends. But that is the important first step – which is the focus of the Winning Words Projects. All our instructors are college graduates and live in the United States. Over 50% are moms who have tested the material on their own kids!
